Foundation and Continuous Training: Initial DGR training establishes a baseline understanding, but ongoing education is vital to adapt to evolving regulations. In countries like the UAE, continuous training is mandated by GCAA CAR Part VI, emphasizing regular updates for all staff involved in dangerous goods management. Similarly, Saudi Arabian regulations require adherence to standards that promote safety across all transport sectors, underscoring the need for continuous skill enhancement. #LogisticsUAE #FreightForwarding #SupplyChainManagement #Transportation #ShippingIndustry #UAELogistics #GlobalLogistics #FreightServices #CargoSolutions #ImportExport #LogisticsManagement #Warehousing #SustainabilityInLogistics

Introducing IATA's Dangerous Goods Training Guidance, Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA), Edition 1, 2023. ⚡To ensure safety and compliance in the handling of Dangerous Goods, IATA DG training has evolved from traditional learning to CBTA. IATA's Dangerous Goods Training Guidance, Edition 1 was published in 2023, providing a comprehensive framework for implementing CBTA for all teams. Key benefits of CBTA: ✅ Tailored training: Focus on specific functions and responsibilities, ensuring employees acquire the exact skills they need. ✅ Enhanced efficiency: Streamline training processes and reduce costs by focusing on demonstrated proficiency. ✅ Improved safety: To equip the workforce with the knowledge and skills to handle dangerous goods safely and effectively. What's new? 1. According to the agreement by ICAO Dangerous Goods Panel in DGP/27 (2019) and IATA's "Dangerous Goods Training Guidance", the old staff categories (CATs) has been translated by IATA into the new activity categories (CAs) based on Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA). 2. IATA DG CBTA is in full alignment with IATA DGR, subsection 1.5. ⚠️ All aviation entities are to consider IATA DG CBTA in their training activities. https://lnkd.in/dXpc4ssQ #IATA #DangerousGoods #CBTA #AviationSafety #TrainingAndDevelopment #NewGuidance #IATADGR

📣 Discover what our students have to say about their experience with IATA Training courses. 🛫 "Safety Management Systems (SMS) for Airlines This training was a great chance to revisit the basics and also gain new insights into how safety management systems are viewed across the industry. While SMS is a key part of AOC operations, we also had some thought-provoking discussions about how it’s applied in other areas, like Engineering and Maintenance, Ground Operations, and with Regulated Agents, which is where I work. Safety Management Systems (SMS) - Train the Trainer I’m excited to have completed the IATA Training course in Safety Management Systems - Train the Trainer. The course gave me the skills I need, and I’m now confident in my ability to train and guide both participants and industry professionals in this important area. Airline Safety Investigations I’m grateful for the opportunity to refresh my knowledge and technical skills in investigating both internal incidents and national accidents. The training from IATA was insightful and gave me a clear understanding of how to identify root causes, spot deficiencies, and put in place effective mitigation measures."
