From Middle-Class Dreams to Creative Realities: How I Became a Self-Taught Graphic Designer.... 🌟The Beginning: I’ve always loved drawing, even from my school days. Art class was my favourite, and I was always eager to express my creativity on paper. My interest grew when I discovered the paint tool on my computer. It was a whole new world where I could experiment with colours and shapes digitally. After, 10th CBSE boards, I enrolled in an institute to learn the basics of computers. It was there that I discovered CorelDRAW, photoshop and my passion for digital design truly set alight. The more I learned, the more I realized that this was what I wanted to do. 📖 Self Learning : Growing up in a middle-class family, asking my parents to enrol me in a design school was not an option. Without formal education in design, I decided to study online tutorials, books, and a lot of practice to sharpen my skills. Each project was a new adventure, pushing my creative boundaries and concentrate on my abilities. 💡 The Breakthrough : My journey took a significant turn when I landed my first client—my friend's dad. He entrusted me with designing a logo for his startup and paid me 500/- rupees. That project was more than just a job; it was a validation of my skills and a huge confidence booster. It made me realize that I could turn my passion into a career and after thet their referrals help me alot to build more clients and yes i still work for them. 💁♀️ Entering the Professional World : With a self-built portfolio, I stepped into the professional world. Each project expanded my understanding of the industry, enhancing my skills in client communication, design strategy, and project management. NOW, 🌟Excelling as a Professional Graphic Designer: Today, with 5.4 years of industry experience, I am proud to call myself a professional graphic designer. My journey from a curious child with paper and pencil to a paint tool then seasoned, self-taught designer has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve had the privilege to work with amazing clients, create impactful designs, and continuously learn and grow in this active space. No matter where you start, passion and dedication can transform a hobby into a career. Embrace your beginnings, stay curious, and never stop creating. {P.S: I created patterns on paint tool} What's your story? #mystory #design #myjourney #graphicdesigner #linkedin
