Small & Mighty | Our products come in all shapes and sizes.. Occasionally we get some contrasting items making their way through our Production Teams, this month we have seen both “Small and Mighty” crates which have caught our eye. Here we have Supervisor, Chaney Doherty and Ivan Avreyski (6’5 tall), from our Product Assembly Team, both sizing up the crates in one of our manufacturing areas. Destined for the “Energy Industry” and at 8m long, it is one of largest items on our books. (although we can make them even bigger) In contrast: At just 49cm x 35cm, Chaney is standing on one of the smaller Riveted Cases which is used in the “Heavy Automotive industry” and despite its size it protects the contents perfectly. These items demonstrate our broad range of products and capability, where strength and reliability are important factors when moving valuable or fragile items. 🌟 **Marching into March: Overcoming Day-One Challenges with Resilience** March 1st, 2024, marked the beginning of a new month, and with it came the kind of challenges that test our mettle in the aluminum extrusion industry. From the get-go, we were on our toes, addressing quality concerns and fitting issues that demanded immediate attention. **Quality at the Forefront**: Our day began with addressing a paint quality issue for a customer, where the finish resembled an 'orange peel' – far from the smoothness we aim for. Despite initial testing confirming the problem, our customer requested further tests, underscoring the importance of thoroughness in our approach. The subsequent tests reaffirmed the issue, validating our commitment to leaving no stone unturned in our quality assurance processes. **The Fitting Puzzle**: Simultaneously, another challenge surfaced with a different customer, where end caps weren't aligning with aluminum tubes – a crucial component awaiting shipment. The race against time to find an alternative solution highlighted our team's agility and our partnership with suppliers in navigating unexpected hurdles. **Embracing the Challenge**: These moments, while testing, are reminders of the dynamic nature of our work. They push us to innovate, collaborate, and above all, maintain a steadfast commitment to our customers' satisfaction, even when the unexpected strikes. As we move deeper into March, let's carry forward the lessons of today: resilience, thoroughness, and the power of teamwork. I'm curious to hear from my network – how do you tackle day-one challenges in your industry? Let's share and learn from each other's experiences. #Resilience #ProblemSolving #QualityAssurance #Teamwork #ManufacturingChallenges
