Second Publication Our group has published an article titled "Words Matter: The Language of Public Health" in the American Journal of Public Health. The article focuses on how the language used in public health can be complicated and influenced by politics. This makes it challenging for public health practitioners to create effective health messages, build trust, and secure funding opportunities. The current climate, which is marked by partisan politics, misinformation, skepticism, and amplified disparities, has made these tasks even more challenging. The COVID-19 pandemic has further intensified the situation. https://lnkd.in/gnNx5wt3 Nebraska College of Education & Human Sciences University of Nebraska Medical Center University of Nebraska-Lincoln

#PublicHealth is an interesting field of learning not only because its complex but also interconnected with many different disciplines. I earlier shared Yale School of Public Health's interdisciplinary mind map of public health subject. Recently the school updated the map beautifully which makes the field more interesting to learn, collaborate and innovate to make #HealthSystem better and improve people lives. #SystemsThinking
