🚀 Commercial Aerospace Set for a Landmark Year in 2024! I'm thrilled to share the key findings from our latest Accenture Commercial Aerospace Insight Report, which reveals a strong recovery and a bright future for the #aerospace #sector. The commercial aerospace industry is on track to surpass 2019 revenues by almost 11%, signaling a remarkable recovery and growth trajectory post-pandemic, even as we navigate some ongoing challenges. Here are some key takeaways: 🌍 Aviation Growth: Revenue passenger kilometers rose by 36.9% globally, with an additional 9.8% increase projected for 2024. The aviation sector is not just bouncing back—it's soaring to new heights! 🔗 Supply Chain Confidence: Supply chain challenges persist. While executives expressed increased confidence in their supply chain's ability to deliver on time over the next six months (Despite ongoing challenges, 79% of executives are confident their supply chains will deliver on time and with the expected quality over the next six months.), some persistent challenges remain. These are likely to affect production in 2024 and beyond. Greater use of digital tools, such as #digitaltwins and #AI, is urgently required to improve supply chain oversight and risk management. Yet only 6% are using #AI and advanced #analytics.   🔧Operational Challenges: However, 55% of executives are still relying on manual processes for supply chain monitoring and risk management. There’s a clear need forgreater adoption of digital tools to enhance #efficiency and #resilience. ✈️ Record Deliveries: 2023 saw significant increases in commercial aircraft deliveries, with Airbus up by 11%, Boeing by 10%, and Embraer by 13%. This trend is set to continue into 2024. 📈 Airlines and MRO Growth: #Airlines returned to profitability in 2023, with a projected 10% rise in profits for 2024. Aerospace deliveries reach new records 2023 saw significant increases in deliveries of commercial aircraft, and the trend is expected to continue into 2024, with higher deliveries of both narrow-body and wide-body models. I’m pleased to share the latest findings from our Accenture Commercial Aerospace Insight Report, which highlights a robust recovery and optimistic outlook within the aerospace industry, despite some ongoing challenges.  Here are a few takeaways:  🌏 Global Growth: The report notes a significant 36.9% global increase in revenue passenger kilometers, with an additional 9.8% growth anticipated for 2024. This surge underscores a strong rebound and growing demand in air travel.  🔗 Supply Chain Confidence: Despite the complexities, 79% of aerospace executives now have confidence in their supply chain's ability to deliver on time and with the expected quality over the next six months. This is a positive shift towards stability after a period of unpredictability.  🔁 Operational Challenges: However, the journey isn't without its hurdles. 55% of executives report that manual processes still dominate in the monitoring of supply chain risks and management, indicating significant room for technological integration and process improvement.
