Meet Joydeep Das. 🤝 Photographer, sportsman, and Cypress Ambassador. "Do not over-automate," Joydeep explains. "Don't be focused on the volume of automation but be obsessed with the minimum tests which can validate the maximum amount of functionality. "Augment redundant UI actions, setups, and teardowns always with more efficient API calls rather than relying solely on UI." Digital Transformation || Experience Consulting || Emerging Technologies || Transforming Experiences with Immersive Technologies (AR/VR)
𝗔𝗥 𝘃𝘀 𝗖𝗚𝗜: 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲? Ever been tricked by a billboard #ad that seemed to jump out at you? That eye-popping effect, like the one in the Maltina 3D Billboard advert, is crafted through CGI magic! It's an anamorphic illusion – a clever technique that makes flat surfaces look three-dimensional. ....but what’s the difference between CGI and AR? 𝗔𝗥 (𝗔𝘂𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆): This technology layers digital elements over the real world. Think of Pokémon Go or trying on virtual furnitures in your space. Your device’s camera plays a crucial role here. AR seamlessly blends computer-generated elements with your actual surroundings. 𝗖𝗚𝗜 (𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆): CGI, on the other hand, builds entire worlds from scratch. Imagine blockbuster movie effects or hyper-realistic product demos. Powerful software creates visuals that defy reality. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆: Both AR and CGI push the limits of visual storytelling, but they do it in different ways. CGI crafts illusions, while AR seamlessly integrates them into your reality. 🌟 #AR #CGI #3dadverts #DigitalTransformation #3d

Do you remember when our grandparents marveled at the CGI work in cinema during the 2000s? Remember how people were mesmerized by animation films that seemed to advance like magic? Fast forward twenty years, and that technology is no longer considered special. In a remarkably short span of time, technology has advanced so much that CGI has become the norm for decades. The world is now accustomed to being dazzled by AI-generated images. The leap in technology that allows artificial intelligence to create something from nothing is akin to the Wright Brothers' first flight at the turn of the 20th century. These groundbreaking discoveries aren't entirely new, but they introduce new tools and innovations that propel human civilization into a new paradigm shift, reshaping everything we know about our society. Technological changes can either empower or hinder individuals depending on how they adapt to the inevitable cultural shift. And it's not just a singular shift caused by one technology—it's an ongoing and endless series of changes from one invention and innovation to another. Day by day, innovation after innovation, the world is shaped by progress that we couldn't have predicted. The timeless message about technology remains: "adapt." However, given that technology in the 21st century seems like magic that envelops the entire world, predicting what comes next to shape society, our way of life, and how we can succeed financially is nearly impossible. May sounds pessimistic but, the future is dark.

New (line of) work alert: CGI CGI and AR are so related, in terms of their build, and so different in terms of their outputs. One makes fascinating video that makes the users go, wait what? This seems fun. Another engages the audience actively. But what they have in common, is the creativity, bordering on the line of escapism they enable. Who wouldn't want to reimagine oval buildings opening to reveal your favourite lipstick? It is almost part of one's job profile here at Team 4Lunches Have a look at this concept CGI we created to see how CGI could create impactful videos. PS: We are open to CGI briefs now, in addition to SocialAR! Reach us Lessgo🚀

The heartwarming short film "Ian" by Mundoloco CGI 🎬 tells the story of a boy with a disability who just wants to play with his friends. This film, made with the message of inclusion at its core, lead me to reflect on how this story can be easily translated to the digital world... Inaccessible interfaces can be just as isolating. Imagine struggling to navigate a digital product or being shut out entirely because of poor design choices 😖. This is where -good- designers step in! We have the power and responsibility to bridge this gap. By prioritizing accessibility from the beginning, we ensure everyone can participate in the digital world. Let's face it, accessibility sometimes gets overlooked. Often, it's due to a lack of understanding about the challenges faced by users with disabilities. Here's how we can tackle this: 1. ✨ Lead by example: Integrate accessibility best practices into your daily workflow. This sets the standard and showcases its value. 2. 🤝 Build your Accessibility team: Partner with developers and testers passionate about accessibility. This core group can advocate and troubleshoot within the team. 3. 💬 Educate continuously: Use your design decisions as teaching moments! Explain the reasoning behind your choices to help others learn accessibility basics. 4. 🔎 Perform Accessibility reviews: Make accessibility reviews a standard part of the design process. This could involve peer reviews or collaboration with specialists. By fostering a culture of accessibility, we can ensure everyone benefits from the digital experiences we create. #accessibility #designforall #inclusivedesign https://rb.gy/7mrqjo
