Hello, Connections!!! Day 77 of 365 Solved the question of Min XOR value. Given an integer array A of N integers, find the pair of integers in the array which have minimum XOR value. Report the minimum XOR value. Input Format: First and only argument of input contains an integer array A Output Format: return a single integer denoting minimum xor value Just took up a new challenge for 365 days, I have participated in the #365daysofscaler, looking forward to learning new things and making a full 365-day streak. #scalerdiscord #codewithscaler #365daysofcode

Here's February's Software Release Roundup 🚀 linstor-server 1.26.1 is a bug-fix release. The fix worth mentioning showed its effects only when the cluster was busy in terms of numerous new storage resources being created and the existing volumes being under heavy I/O and on thin provisioned backing storage. https://bit.ly/48AbcKb linstor-server 1.26.2 release is smaller patch release, with just two minor fixes. https://bit.ly/49xynG2 python-linstor/linstor-client 1.21.1 includes a few client fixes/changes, which you can read about in detail here. https://bit.ly/3uWKIED LINSTOR Operator v2.4.0: There are two major improvements in this release - an additional validation for LINSTOR CSI StorageClass resources and an update to the way we deploy LINSTOR Satellites. https://bit.ly/48xAtVc

The subtleties of Swift’s type system and generics distinguish senior engineers from our fellow junior counterparts. One advanced concept is conditional conformances. This feature allows a generic type to conditionally conform to a protocol *only* when certain criteria are met. Here,`struct SumArray<T: Summable>` defines a generic structure `SumArray` that can work with any type `T` that conforms to the `Summable` protocol. The `Summable` protocol defines types that can be added together and provides a zero value for summation. This is how we can add different types together in Swift ;)

📝 I had the opportunity to present our work on "Formal Verification of Virtualization-Based Trusted Execution Environments" at the International Conference on Compilers, Architectures, and Synthesis for Embedded Systems (CASES'24) during ACM/IEEE Embedded Systems Week (ESWEEK) in Raleigh, NC. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Abstract of the talk/paper: In today's digital landscape, ensuring confidentiality is paramount, particularly for sensitive data in applications like banking. Data can be at rest, in transit, or in use. While public/private key encryption methods like AES and RSA effectively to ensure confidentiality of data at rest and in transit, protecting data in use presents a significant challenge. Homomorphic encryption offers a solution but is currently too inefficient for practical use. This is where Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) come into play, providing a secure space for computation that protects both data and code with respect to confidentiality and integrity. As an analogy, a TEE is like a clean and sanitized operating room in a hospital, where critical procedures are conducted, isolated from potential contamination in the rest of the facility. Given the growing reliance on TEEs for securing high-stakes computations, verifying their trustworthiness is crucial. Our paper addresses this need, focusing on ensuring the integrity of VM-based TEEs. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This work will soon be available in IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems (IEEE TCAD). Excited to share a new blog post on achieving observability in Fog Computing using open-source tools. The post discusses the challenges of achieving observability in a Fog environment and presents a formal definition of fog observability. It also includes an empirical evaluation of fog observability using open-source tools in a real-world Fog Computing testbed.
