🗓 On 3-4 June 2024, the AI-PROGNOSIS consortium will gather in Toulouse, France, for the third plenary meeting to review the progress updates, hold workshops, and plan the next steps. 🔍Before the event, let’s take a closer look at the approach of AI-PROGNOSIS. Prof. Leontios Hadjileontiadis, the project coordinator, highlights the complexity of Parkinson's disease and emphasises the multidisciplinary approach of the AI-PROGNOSIS consortium. The consortium includes clinical representatives, regulatory experts, and small-to medium-sized companies investing in technology. Additionally, patient representatives are actively involved in the co-creation process. Our approach focuses on understanding the holistic scope of the Parkinson’s disease problem, prioritising user needs, and applying solutions in real-world scenarios to achieve tangible outcomes that benefit individuals and provide insights for policymakers. We have exciting news to share! Ambr has joined forces with the N Bud Grossman Center for Memory Research and Care from University of Minnesota to tackle Alzheimer's disease head-on. We've submitted an application to the a2 Collective | a2PilotAwards.ai, aiming to develop explainable AI algorithms for prediction, diagnosis, and prevention. This transatlantic collaboration unites top minds from the University of Minnesota, led by Dr. Dongming Cai and Dr. Rui Zhang, with our scientists at #Ambr Institute. Together, we're forging a powerful consortium dedicated to shift Alzheimer's care. Our joint collaboration will: 1. Develop explainable AI algorithms using both American and European data; 2. Validate our findings on Grossman Center cohorts; 3. Integrate our findings into the #Ambr platform.
