NERC: Natural Environment Research Council’s Post

We’re inviting applications for our Training Short Course (TSC) awards, offering you a chance to lead the development of environmental scientists. The closing date has been extended out to 15 October. The flexibility of this call enables you to apply for the non-directed aspect or our directed priority areas. Priority areas: 🟢 Future Marine Research Infrastructure - Training initiatives that'll increase awareness of the technical specs and applications of marine autonomous systems (MAS) in sustained and experimental ocean observation. 🟢 Digital Skills - Training initiatives that support one or more of these strategic themes: Data stewardship, Data analysis, understanding, and visualisation, Modelling and simulation. Non-directed areas: Training initiatives must fall within our science remit. We particularly encourage initiatives that provide significant added value to other NERC priorities and investments, such as our strategic research programs or NERC remit areas related to the UKRI strategy.
