The role will help data governance team in the planning, evaluating, and selecting the right data quality capabilities for the Bank. The role ensures that all the data loaded to data lake and other data management platforms is complete, correct and of good quality. The role serves as an advisor to the data governance team to develop and deliver enterprise-wide solutions for complex data quality challenges, including developing and applying data quality, tools, rules, reports and consistent monitoring to ensure data quality. 📑 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞: ➥ Defining Data Quality Process: Identifies and standardizes the process for data quality. Cascades the process to other teams within Data & Analytics function to ensure data quality is part of all data initiatives. Creates value by managing data quality as per industry best practices and latest trends which will help analytics staff in making best use of data. ➥ Establishing Data Quality: Cascades from data governance strategy into practical process of data quality to promote ease of data access, quality, and analytical capability. Develops and maintains controls on data quality. Strives to reduce the cost of managing data quality and increase the value of the data. ➥ Identifying and Defining Data Quality Investments: Works with data governance team to identify areas of technical needs for future data quality capabilities. Drives the selection, development and deployment of the data quality platform. ➥ Operations and Reporting: Serves as the Data Quality technical lead. Responsible for day to day operations of data quality. Ensures that all new data which is added to data lake and other data management platforms is profiled, data quality rules identified and applied properly. Continuously works with data source owners and data engineers to ensure that data quality is maintained. Provides guidance and explanation to other teams and analysts on quality, completeness and correctness of data.
