Internal IT vs External IT: Which one is better? There are many pros and cons to both options, but ultimately, each organization has to choose what’s right for them. Something came to my mind after having a conversation with my colleagues: Say no to every suggestion and wait until you finally hire a security professional for your team to ramp up your security. Or Let's start now, start small, and improvise them continuously. I prefer the second method and start it right away, flagging all the burning risks that may put the business on bad term and letting people who are involved in it be aware of these, then start working on a long-term solution, or at least having an awareness of how we should stop doing something, and start changing the way of how things are used to be 'work' in the past. Yes, I may not be the expert or certified practitioner for some things, but I should still remind everyone to be secure and do their work securely.
