After leaving Bathroom Mountain I started doing some ecommerce consulting again If the amazing opportunity at Merchstack hadnt come along im sure I wouldve carried it on Especially when i was getting some decent traction because of some great results But to be honest it was quite easy. All I was doing is a quick audit of customers checkouts So many easy fixes that quickly improved checkout conversion rates and conversion rates overall - Fields that wernt required - No error messaging - Payment types that didnt work - Key scenarios that just didnt work - Too many unnecessary steps - No guest checkout The list continues on and on So any retailers reading this. Stop everything youre doing to try and improve conversion and spend the day using your checkout like a customer 100% you will find atleast one thing you can improve #ecommerce #CRO #conversionrateoptimisation
