Sharing is caring! 💡 I’m excited to share this fantastic article written by one of my favorite colleagues (and fellow Arian, because Aries power is real! 🐏🔥) April DSouza. She shared about one of our favorite projects we worked on together! I can clearly remember how it all started—the user problems we set out to solve, the amazing collaborations, the challenges along the way, the presentations, and all the workshops and experiments until we finally arrived at the end result. 🙌 Working on this study taught me something valuable: sometimes the solutions we need aren’t brand new things—they’re about optimizing what we already have, with better governance and smarter strategies. It's not always about reinventing the wheel but refining it to work better. Grateful for the lessons learned and the opportunity to work with such an amazing team! 🙌 Shout out to our mentors Rahul Bhatli and Gokul Nath Sridhar, who guided and trusted us throughout the process. Your support made all the difference! #Collaboration #Teamwork #UserResearch #ProblemSolving

🎉✨ Reflecting on an immersive Week 13 (January 3-8, 2024) in RevoU's Full Stack Digital Marketing program, the focus shifted to the dynamic realm of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Guided by the seasoned expertise of Kak Gia Adhika, Senior CRM Manager at Disney+ Hotstar and Uber Alumni, our cohort delved into two pivotal sub-modules: Lecture 1 (Introduction to CRM) and Lecture 2 (CRM Perspective). The learning journey involved hands-on utilization of tools such as Whimsical, Intuit Mailchimp, OneSignal, ImgBB, and tools that have not yet been studied (SendGrid, GetResponse, Customer.io, CleverTap, MoEngage, Firebase Developer, Salesforce, Zoho, and HubSpot). 📚 A heartfelt shoutout to our dedicated leaders, Kak Mutiaranda Aulia as the Section Manager and Kak Melisa Camalia as the Team Lead, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in navigating the intricacies of CRM. Their guidance has been invaluable as we explored the strategic nuances of customer relationship management. 💠 The pinnacle of the week was our collaborative effort on the Advanced Assignment, where we embraced the role of CRM specialists for Shopee Food. The challenge involved tackling persona-fication and crafting compelling campaign creations. Skillsets honed included expertise in lifecycle and campaign ideas, customer segmentation, and the intricate process of campaign development. 🔰 Excitement brims as we integrate these CRM insights into our repertoire, gearing up for the promising challenges that lie ahead. Grateful for the enriching experience and looking forward to leveraging these newfound skills for impactful digital marketing endeavors! #CRM #DigitalMarketing #RevoU #LearningJourney #CustomerRelationshipManagement #StrategicMarketing #TeamCollaboration #ShopeeFood #MarketingSkills ✨🚀 #ProjectExposeNEXTJan24

Founder, yes2growth | Fractional CMO - Early stage companies | Ex-VP, Growth Marketing and Product OYO
This was one of the first growth hacks which we experimented with while launching the OYO app in Malaysia. Offline customer acquisition hacks are often criticized as they are difficult to execute, low attributable ROI and scalability challenges. As Paul Graham says, early on it's important to “Do things that don't scale. The most common unscalable thing founders have to do at the start is to recruit users manually. Airbnb is a classic example of this technique. Marketplaces are so hard to get rolling that you should expect to take heroic measures at first. In Airbnb's case, these consisted of going door to door in New York, recruiting new users and helping existing ones improve their listings.” But there are scenarios where Offline customer acquisition hacks really make sense. Depending on the type of activity, they allow you to reach your pin-pointed target audience and ensure that the communication is delivered impactfully (mostly even super relevant contextually). In some cases, it also allows you to hear/ understand customer questions/ reactions etc. It is a BONUS if this activity gets picked up and shared organically on social media. Therefore, extra marks for creativity. Was thrown back to the Malaysia launch days when I saw the Togopool banner at a red light in Gurugram. Showcasing similar activities by Grab as well which inspired us. Ian Goh Harshit Srivastava Abhishek Hota

I'm excited to share my second project! Gojek, a leading Southeast Asian super app, lacked visibility into user behavior across their journey. This made it difficult to improve engagement, conversion, and retention. To address this challenge, as a data analyst, I collaborated with a product manager to define key metrics and data points for in-app experimentation. Together, we pinpointed crucial user touchpoints and established measurable indicators to understand user behavior and engagement better. Now Gojek can: - Optimize the app for conversions with data-driven decision making. - Drive user retention through a deeper understanding of user behavior. - Personalize the app experience for improved engagement. This project demonstrates the power of data-driven decision making in app optimization. By leveraging user data, we were able to unlock valuable insights that will fuel Gojek's future growth. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the importance of data in user journey visibility! Co-Founder & Co-CEO @ Junto | Helping HR & L&D teams to elevate people manager development in scale-ups via live-virtual trainings led by seasoned tech executives
𝘈𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵: 𝘓𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 Junto'𝘴 #𝘊𝘏𝘙𝘖 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 🚀 Marius and I are both super passionate about learning. It's one of those things that has connected us over our 10+ years of friendship - we love to dive deep into new concepts, learn new skills and geek out about it in hourlong discussions👨🎓. This is also part of the reason why we founded Junto - building a product that brings our passion for learning to the world. One of the 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐲 #upskilling solution is understanding and solving for - partly very different - needs of three groups: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫: How's learning helping me with my current challenges? How is it impacting my career? Is it exciting? 𝐋&𝐃: Does it fit our culture? How does it integrate in our tools, systems, other initiatives? 𝐂𝐱𝐎: How is learning aligned with key strategic initiatives? What's the ROI? This is why I'm so greatful that we now have the opportunity to challenge our ideas and get inspired by four of the most forwardlooking CPOs as founding members of our advisory council 🥁. All of them genuinely care for their employees (= their users), they've seen and implemented hundreds of learning initiatives (having seen the good, the bad, and the ugly), and bridge the connection to business strategy at board level (#seatatthetable). Big bonus: They are genuinly fun people to be around 🥳. ➡️Miriam Sternitzky who’s grown internally all the way from HR generalist to CHRO at Westwing in only 7 years ➡️Björn Kastl, who translates his two decades of HR experience to build a people-centric culture as CPO at mytheresa ➡️Annika in der Beek, who just started her journey as the first ever CPO of Statista in May ➡️Roxana Dobrescu, who's led people teams through hypergrowth at Glovo and now as CPO at commercetools Let's get this started & together build the most customer-obsessed #HRtech product 🚀.

Have you ever faced challenges developing for multiple platforms? At Agoda, we use cross-platform technology to revolutionize our development process. Cross-platform technology allows us to build features on multiple platforms using a single codebase, which has significantly boosted our development speed and efficiency. Solutions like WebViews, React Native, Flutter, and others are making this possible despite some trade-offs in performance and update flexibility. In this blog post, Devesh Lakhotia, Principal Product Manager at Agoda, shares how we are adopting cross-platform solutions and the immense learnings we've gained along the way. ✨ Optimizing Product Recommendations to Drive Sales at Telkom B2B Marketplace ✨ I’m thrilled to share the results of a team project I worked on as part of the final assignment during my Virtual Internship with RevoU x Telkom Indonesia. Together, we aimed to enhance the customer experience by developing a personalized product recommendation system for Telkom’s B2B Marketplace, which connects Indonesian SMEs (UMKM) with state-owned enterprises (BUMN) to facilitate procurement. The project involved analyzing customer behavior to identify which segments should be prioritized for sales growth. By understanding different purchasing patterns, we crafted targeted recommendations and strategies to optimize the platform’s performance. 🔍 Customer Segmentation Insights: 1. Consistent Shoppers: Regular buyers who make consistent purchases. We implemented cross-selling strategies, recommending complementary products like office electronics and food supplies to boost average order value. 2. Occasional Bargain Hunters: Customers who purchase mainly during promotions. We introduced flash sales, bundling offers, and rewards to increase transaction frequency and value. 3. Strategic Big Spenders: Customers who plan their large purchases. We offered bulk discounts and product packages to incentivize bigger orders and maximize value. 🎯 Key Findings: 1. Consistent Shoppers showed great potential for cross-selling and up-selling through tailored product recommendations such as office supplies and food ingredients. 2. Occasional Bargain Hunters benefited from flash sales, personalized email campaigns, and time-sensitive discounts to encourage repeat purchases. 3. Strategic Big Spenders were motivated by bulk purchase discounts and loyalty programs, which led to larger transactions and improved retention. ⚙ Approach: We utilized RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) segmentation to analyze customer behavior and create strategies like cross-selling, up-selling, and bundling promotions. This approach helped us focus on driving sales from underperforming segments while enhancing the loyalty of high-value customers. I want to extend a huge thank you to my expert, Rachma Indira, and mentors, Jeremiah Albertus, Muhammad Ibnu Rasyad, and Nizar Ahmad Dwinugraha, for their guidance and support throughout this project. It was an incredible learning experience to work alongside such a talented team! #ProjectExposeNEXTMay24 #Data #Product #Recommender #Python #Marketplace #VirtualInternship #Business #Marketing #DataDrivenStrategy
