For my final year at university, I've undertaken a dissertation exploring what the basis is for our ties to family, and whether this level of prejudice is justified. This is a 'creative dissertation' where I will be creating a portfolio and a four-thousand word introduction to my research. The problem with dissertations is they are neat and tidy portrayals of only the successes of the study. No one wants to publish all of the stuff that went wrong, the struggles, the sleepless nights, the tears, the numerous times we wanted to give up on our dissertation. First Research Publication! 🚨 I am thrilled to announce the publication of my first research article, "Understanding Academic Dishonesty: Determinants, Consequences, and Strategies for Mitigation," co-authored with Dr.Ghousia Saeed , Yahya Haqdad Abbasi and Wahab Hussain. 📚✨ In this study, we investigate the complex factors contributing to academic dishonesty among students and propose strategies to foster a culture of academic integrity. Our research highlights the impact of prioritizing grades over genuine learning and the emotional dynamics involved in cheating behaviors.
