A ritual requires intention, attention, and repetition. As a PR professional, this makes me think about the power of having a simple message (based on deep insight – with good intention) and using that to hold attention by repetition. Like many other aspects of life, the power of compounding holds true in PR as well. Find an interesting and worthwhile story to tell and keep repeating it and over time, it builds into a ritual and becomes a habit or a tradition. Our thoughts become our words and they frame our actions. Cheers to the power of PR and birthdays as moments to reflect on life with intention and attention. A new year beckons, all that’s left is for me to ask myself what part of my life I want to build with repetition, and that over time will define my reputation. #rituals #reputation

Neurodivergent tip: Tabs being open was a big thing for me, learning to create a favourites bar / folders really helped me close down the many, many ones I had open on my home laptop. But the tabs or labels in a neurodivergent mind are harder to close, especially this week. If you’re neurodivergent in this week of neurodiversity you’ll be: Visible, Seen, Heard, Loved, Celebrated, Understood, Respected, Represented, Included, and all other manner of things in between. But there are times where in the past, present or in the future of the rest of the weeks in the year you will be; Misunderstood, Compared, Ignored, Excluded Sidelined, Marginalised, Manipulated, Stressed, Gaslighted, Scapegoated, Isolated and Triggered Close those tabs in your head, and if you need help contact Mind Remember your worth is not in other people’s projection of you this week or next, good or bad; your worth, is how you treat, respect and love yourself. Feeling overwhelmed by the constant stream of thoughts and tasks is something many of us can relate to. It's like having too many tabs open in our minds at once. Bookmark the ones for later, and focus on closing the chapters that need attention now. Taking time to reflect on our priorities helps us manage the load without feeling overwhelmed.
