Discussing the public-private relationship in healthcare data security 🏥 Tune in to #AWSSummit, where John Furrier is joined by Tom Herzog, the COO at Netsmart, to discuss the importance of public-private relationships in healthcare and how to drive value from them. “The public-private relationship and healthcare has been a nightmare with data sets being HIPAA-compliant over the years. Data now needs to be freed up, but secure. Data being available in generative AI is a key part of the theme in this next generation. It’s about using data securely and doing it in a way that's going to add value,” shares Furrier. “We've got to develop the right systems and the right framework in such a way that they're absolutely secure, but it's also about privacy. In healthcare, we need to make sure that individuals' healthcare information is available to them and who they choose to make it available to. That's why these kinds of public-private relationships are necessary,” Herzog adds to the conversation. He continues, “It's the ability to come together and do that at a speed of innovation that delivers meaningful value. You asked what's happening here. It's collaboration, it's AWS, it's myself, and it's our clients coming together and saying, "How do we solve these challenges together at a rate that provides meaningful value now?" 📺 Watch the full analysis: https://lnkd.in/grGrWNt5 Amazon Web Services (AWS) #theCUBE
