*Hackathon update* As a follow on to our recent update, our team at RoadMetrics AI is excited to be travelling and organising our first in-person hackathon event for enthusiasts within the developer community in Bengaluru this Saturday, the 7th of December! The challenge will be around "Pothole Insights: Analyse, Map and Visualise Road Defects" using all of our historical pothole AI models deployed using training datasets across different geographies. Ever felt your team’s spark fade in longer projects? Over the past 6 months, we felt this firsthand. With a small team spread over so many tasks/projects, the sense of team spirit can fade in startup. To reignite our team's spirit, I organized a fresh challenge: a hackathon on a societal problem to boost creativity and collaboration. I was super impressed with the results. In just 1 day, we developed a working prototype. I love working in this high-paced, problem-solving environment, and I know many other AI engineers do too. So I'm thinking of making hackathons a regular part of our workflow, perhaps at the start of each new project. How about you? Do you integrate hackathons into your process and how?
