"The lithium-ion #battery on board consists of half graphite, and there is rounded anode graphite in the big bag on the loading area - this closes both #material and #energy cycles," Marc Giersemehl, Managing Director NEUMAN ESSER Process Technology, says. NEUMAN & ESSER’s process technology experts have created innovative and patented solutions for #milling and #rounding graphite and coke for use in battery anodes. The associated machines have been developed and tested extensively in our own on-site Test Center, which is also available for test campaigns of our customers. Our solutions, which are already in use in many places, thus provide customers with decisive efficiency advantages. "It is impressive to see how interconnected the value chains are. Our #impactclassifiermill eXtra ICX combines a gentle #grinding process with dynamic #classifying. This makes them particularly suitable for this application. Kicking off the Heinsberg Hydrogen Project H2HS Together with our great partners, BMR energy solutions GmbH from Geilenkirchen, Frauenrath Unternehmensgruppe, Veolia from #Heinsberg as well as WEP from Hückelhoven we have joined forces for the project #H2HS. Within the consortium H2HS we will build a 2 MW #electrolyzer system, including a #hydrogenrefuelingstation in Heinsberg. The #electricity required for this will also come from #renewableenergy plants in the region. In a first step, 70 tons of #greenhydrogen will be produced in Heinsberg each year for the operation of 12 #fuelcell buses of the local transport company WestVerkehr GmbH. #H2 generation can be increased to over 200 tons per year if required. We definitely have plans to expand the plant if there is further demand from neighbouring industry. Special feature of the project: The entire hydrogen value chain is thus kept in the region which is unique. “#Hydrogen is an international megatrend. But we are showing that you don't have to wait for such megatrends to develop, you can drive it right from the start yourself. and regionally contribute to CO2 reduction,” emphasizes Dr. Stefanie Kesting, Managing Director at NEUMAN & ESSER and of the H2HS project company. Landrat Stephan Pusch (District administrator of the Heinsberg region) adds: “The whole world is talking about the energy transition. But we don't talk about it, we do it.”

Visit at INFINIUM It was great to visit the first 50 barrel a day e-fuels plant of Infinium with our team from NEUMAN & ESSER last week. We are delighted to be part of this great success.
