Hospice and OIG 2024 Inside the Benefits of the Special Focus Program Since 2019, CMS has enhanced hospice program integrity and quality, including creating a Congress-mandated Special Focus Program (SFP) to address widespread issues like inadequate care planning and staff vetting.
