The effects of climate change are always top of mind at the Aquarium. The city's Green Ribbon Commission has been working with the Aquarium and other cultural institutions to design phased climate action plans that will reduce emissions in five-year increments. The goal: to get to net zero by 2050. The Aquarium's Chief of Conservation and Stewardship Letise LaFeir talks about the Aquarium's resilience perspective and the importance of "early wins" in reducing our footprint, including eliminating single-use plastics in our gift shop.
