COMPUTER LITERACY DAY Date of celebration : 6th Dec 2024 World Computer Literacy Day is celebrated annually on December 2nd. This day was founded by the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) in 2001, with the goal of encouraging technological skills, particularly among children and women in India. The day aims to "create awareness and drive digital literacy in underserved communities worldwide". Teach Children: Educate kids about computers and programming to give them a digital literacy advantage. Raise Awareness: Use social media platforms to promote worldwide digital access with hashtags like Computer Literacy Day. Mr. Rajas Pathak from Kothrud conducted an informative session on cyber safety awareness, educating children on how to protect ourselves from hackers and cyber threats. The interactive Q&A session allowed students to engage and clarify their doubts, making it a valuable experience for all.

🚀 Excited to Share My Latest Skill: Hashcat on Kali Linux! 🔒 I'm thrilled to announce that I've recently expanded my cybersecurity toolkit by learning how to use Hashcat on Kali Linux! 💻🔍 Hashcat is a powerful password recovery tool, and mastering it has equipped me with the skills to perform advanced security assessments and enhance password security measures. Throughout this learning journey, I've gained hands-on experience with: Hashing Algorithms: Understanding different types of hashes and their applications. Attack Modes: Exploring various attack strategies including brute-force, dictionary, and mask attacks. Optimization Techniques: Leveraging GPU acceleration for efficient hash cracking. Security Best Practices: Learning how to strengthen password policies to mitigate potential security breaches. I am excited to apply this knowledge to real-world scenarios and contribute to building more secure systems. Data Integrity and Recovery: Techniques for ensuring data integrity and using tools to handle corrupt file systems. Performance Tuning and Benchmarking: Skills in tuning file system performance and optimizing performance under different workloads.
