Offshore Wind Safety Standards 🦺 Our colleague from the US, Geoff Neild, has in this week participated in the American Clean Power Association (ACP)'s Offshore WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition 2023 in Boston. He was honored with an invitation to join a panel discussion focusing on the current landscape of safety standards within Offshore Wind. This panel explored the roles and scopes of these standards and how they interplay with one another. Given the emergence of several new and updated standards, Geoff and his fellow panelists have showcased how these standards can be effectively utilized within the industry 🌊🍃 Topics of discussion encompassed the expectations of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) concerning standards, the procedures that companies can employ to identify for most suitable standards for their operations, the existing sources of standards in use, and avenues for active involvement in the standard development process. We appreciate the opportunity, and Geoff enjoyed sharing insights with industry professionals 💡 #ACPOffshore23 #WindPower #NewPowerPartners #OffshoreWind #SafetyStandards #PanelDiscussion
