🙈 Common mistake when shooting distortion grids is the use of “Frame lines” — overlays displayed by 1AC on playback over the camera signal. 🔹 DoP sometimes rely on these overlays to shoot using the full sensor while framing for a specific aspect ratio. 1AC often enable these overlays by default, so it’s our responsibility to ensure they are disabled when shooting grids! ❗️ We recommend not relying solely on the technician's assurance that the overlays are off. Instead, verify this setting in the menu together!
