As the school year ends and summer begins, many parents and teachers worry about the “summer slide.” The summer slide is the tendency for students to lose some of the achievement gains they made during the previous school year. To combat this learning loss, many districts are focusing on providing additional summer learning opportunities for students. 🌟 Teaching Life Lessons at Five Star Life Early Learning Academy 🌟 Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to lead a fun and interactive class for bright 5-year-olds about the basics of money! We explored: 💡 What money can be used to buy—everything from toys to treats! 💡 The importance of saving in their NDFCU piggy banks for special goals or future needs. 🐷 Using stories, games, and hands-on activities, we introduced the idea that money isn’t just for spending—it’s also for planning. It was so rewarding to see their eyes light up as they began to understand the value of saving for something meaningful. Starting these conversations early helps lay a foundation for healthy financial habits later in life. And who knows? We might have some future entrepreneurs in the making! Daniel got 15 students at $850 each in only 1 month. Getting your own students online by switching to niche teaching and going fully independent online isn’t easy. But with the right program and support, you can make the switch, break free from low pay and poor conditions, and earn what you’re worth. Daniel graduated from the 21-Day Challenge in December 2021 and got 15 students at $850 USD per student in January 2022. It is not usual for teachers to get such massive results so early in their journey. But Daniel made it happen. Reflecting on my participation in yesterday’s panel ‘Raising Founders' at the Start-Up Festival, I would like to emphasise the importance of nurturing high-potential learners particularly those with innovative ideas. It is crucial that these individuals regardless of their age are provided with opportunities to engage in meaningful discussions with like-minded peers and mentors and are offered experiential learning in their field of interest. Additionally, we must pay attention to twice-exceptional learners, who possess high abilities and learning difficulties simultaneously A dual approach is essential to address their challenges while supporting their strengths. To truly foster entrepreneurship competencies, formal education must be complemented with formative experiences that begin in early childhood. By integrating sound age-appropriate appropriate pedagogical methods with insights from experienced mentors, we can create an environment that empowers children to take ownership of their learning. This approach is not beneficial for high-potential and twice-exceptional learners alone but for ALL children. By instilling a foundational understanding of entrepreneurship from a young age we equip them with skills and confidence necessary to tackle real-world challenges and seize opportunities in the future.
