Great lecture today at Vanderbilt University Medical Center by Adrienne Boissy for the Patricia Townsend Meador Lecture. The topic was the Neuroscience of Trust and Implications for AI. My takeaway is trust is earned and we each have our unique but similar filters for how we trust something. Many many factors innate to each individual influence trust and Adrienne shared all those factors and more. Technology/AI will certainly aid in building trust and make us more efficient, but can it ever replicate or replace the need and power of human connection and provide a sense of belonging? #humanexperience #ai

A new case study on synthetic data from Ipsos reveals some fascinating insights. This study shows AI's potential to mirror human responses and offer a basic sketch of consumer preferences. However, it lacks the depth . AI’s real strength lies in ideation, where it can generate diverse and well-considered ideas. However, it falls short in embodying the full spectrum of human emotion and experience, particularly in emotionally charged fields like women’s health. The future of market research likely lies in a synergy between AI’s efficiency and human empathy. What do YOU think the future holds for AI in market research? Share your thoughts in the comments! Thanks for sharing that paper Bhavna Sawnani #AI #marketresearch #consumerinsights #Ipsos #womenshealth #futureofwork
