When Vital Brookdale, our purpose-built supportive housing complex, opened in Brooklyn, Jason was able to upgrade to a brand-new 1-bedroom apartment, and on-site support from Foundling staff has helped him strive for his goals. “We started with 40 young people in [our Fostering College Success Initiative] program in 2016. Over 300 youth are now participating in our College Choice program, and one young person is going to Harvard for a master’s program.
