Walk to work, or just go on a walk for at least twenty minutes each day. Use your feet instead of an elevator or escalator. This is good for your posture, your muscles, and your respiratory system, among other things. Participate in social or leisure activities so that you don’t spend too much time in front of the television. Replace your junk food with fruit and you’ll have less of an urge to snack. Get the right amount of sleep. Seven to nine hours is good, but any more than that makes us lethargic. Be conscious of your daily routine in order to detect harmful habits and replace them with more positive ones. #healthylifestyle

Morning Ritual: Be Intentional Take advantage of the Alpha State. Set the tone of your day with a morning ritual. Most people, when they hear the word "morning," automatically think of coffee. That's how they start their day. For most of us, our morning routines revolve around our personal hygiene and food. Some of us even incorporate additional activities like journaling, prayer/meditation, or working out. These things primarily happen after we've gotten out of bed. Have you ever considered that your morning ritual can begin when you're in bed? Better yet, before your eyes even open? When you first awake in the morning, before your eyes open, you are in an alpha state. This state is similar to when you’re meditating or daydreaming. Milk this moment: before opening your eyes take a few moments to fill your mind and body with positivity. This is a great opportunity for us to program our minds for the day. We can decide how we want to feel and positively affirm ourselves. This is an amazing practice that's so easy to incorporate into your morning and can have a very profound impact on your overall wellness.
