Newcastle City Council’s Post

Meet Stephanie 👋 She found employment at McDonalds with the help and guidance of our Supported Employment Service. Stephanie hasn’t looked back and the role has changed her life. It’s given her newfound confidence, skills and independence. What started as a placement has led to long-term paid employment – and she is a fantastic asset to the company. We help many people like Stephanie find work, with currently more than 60 people who are being supported in employment through our Supported Employment Service. And we want to make sure that others with learning disabilities have the opportunity to earn paid employment.
