France's main natural gas distribution system operator (GRDF) launched project FLORES which stands for (grids' operational flexibility) with the aim of balancing #biogas demand and supply. The system, located near the AD unit, automatically triggers the storage of unconsumed renewable gas by compressing it in 200bar gas cylinders. The storage capacity varies between 53 and 162 hours, equivalent to 990 MWh of energy. The system could consequently guarantee continuous AD operations even if the grid is saturated and would lead to stable biomethane supply all year round.

We cannot deny the facts. More and more EU countries are restricting the use of agricultural land and requiring "dual use" in this case solar and agriculture, e.g. Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and in some EU regions the sun is so hot that shading is needed to protect agricultural products, e.g. France, Spain, southern Italy. In Germany, too, Agri PV seems to be favoured by politicians, but fortunately the definition is broader. This means that it can be a conventional design with a wider raw space or higher to allow animals... The BNE (Association from GERMANY) gives some guidance here. We can also see a lot of ideas from the assembly companies to meet the needs of the market. Thanks to our Dutch colleagues, we are now the leading TIER1 supplier, offering, in addition to conventional solar modules, a wide range of products designed for use in greenhouse structures or for AGRI PV applications, with different levels of transparency from 3 to 48% within the modules.
