There is no doubt in my mind that WE are prepared to stand-up and fight for our rights. If you agree, here is a link to a conference which begins today and ends tomorrow. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." #Silence is complicity! In recent few months, we have seen countless examples of the horrific harassment and violence that women of all ages—whether 5 or 85—endure in public places, workplaces, public transport, and even within the supposed safety of their own homes! On one hand, we advocate for greater participation of women in the workforce, urging for equality and representation. Yet, on the other hand, we are failing to ensure their safety and well-being in the very spaces we ask them to occupy. This contradiction is not only unjust—it’s unsustainable. It’s high time that we shift our narratives. We must not only focus on the economic and infrastructural growth of our nation but also on creating a society where women can safely and freely contribute to that growth. A society where fear is not a daily companion for women as they pursue their ambitions and lead their lives. It's not about men vs. women. It's about good men and good women standing together to dismantle the systems that perpetuate violence and injustice!! #StandForJustice #WomenSafety #EqualityForAll #BreakTheSilence #EmpowerWomen

So true UN Women I am pleased to share my article on International Wonen's Day : The Case for Supporting and Empowering women in the Nuclear Industry together with Recommendations on the importance of introducing policies of 30% women in decision making roles including in Senior Management and on Board. https://lnkd.in/gGAFUwBf Although great strides have been made by countries and Government in introducing policy for 30% women in Politics, in Government and on Board of companies...now with the progress and advances of the Fourth Industrial Revolution catalysed by new technolgies studies and reports have highlighted women will be further maginalized Thus in order to prevent this I would like to propose to United Nations , UN Women and UNESCO to please support my recommendations to introduce a policy for 30% women in Science covering -Scientific/R&D evaluation committees -R&D Funding Committes - R& D Projects - Senior Management roles in STEM organizations and businesses - Board membership in STEM organizations This seachange to current status will greatly offer key platforms for women to be important part of STEM decision making. I will be honoured to present my recommendatons on this to the United Nations , UN Women and UNESCO -
