As a girl who grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, being on an OKC TV broadcast seemed unachievable. As I sat in that production room with cameras pointed at me, the pride of that little girl welled inside me telling me this is only the beginning. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my story and my book more widely, and I’m so grateful it started with News 9. EVERY single person I met at the station, from Robby, who secures and manages the entrance, to the owner himself, David Griffin, are extremely kind, personable, caring, and just good people. I had such a wonderful experience, nerves and all, and I am so excited for what the future holds. Thank you for playing such an important role in my journey, Rachel Jamieson, and for inviting me to be on your show. It was literally a dream come true.
