If 'Diya'/Blood Money Islamic Law was challenged in Pakistan via the usual processes like court, parliament, a few men in 'Shariat Council' possess the power to shoot it down and threaten TLP like street violence if any Govt dares disagree So even devout Muslims like my aunt in Canada have more faith in 'Secular' Justice System relatively than the Mullah, Rich and Powerful Nexus Captured System in Pakistan. A white racist Nathaniel Veltman in a truck killed an entire beautiful Pakistani origin, Muslim family in Canada. Imagine, our collective outrage if he was pardoned with a blood money deal brokered in the context of deep power imbalance (a scenario where in better legal systems, the state becomes a party/the prosecutor). This is why even the Pakistani who projects the most patriotism, religiosity since forever aspires most to migrate to the West to at least secure its passport, citizenship at least for their children. Even Farhat Hashmi illegally claimed asylum in Canada while visiting on a highly specific invite basis, short duration, visit visa for religious work. The same stakeholders comfortable abroad in the West will kick up the biggest fuss where ever Pakistan dares applies common sense challenge to anything like the abuse of 'Diya'.

The recent tragic accident on Karsaz Road in Karachi serves as a stark and painful reminder of the devastating consequences of reckless behavior, especially when it stems from those wielding privilege. The actions of Natasha Iqbal, who tragically claimed the lives of innocent individuals due to a moment of gross irresponsibility, are utterly condemnable. This incident underscores the critical need for introspection on the responsibilities that come with power and the urgent necessity for true accountability. #JusticeForAll #KarachiAccident #EqualJustice #PrivilegeAndPower #SocialInjustice #LegalSystemReform #AccountabilityNow #WealthAndJustice #HumanRights #PakistaniLaw #KarachiTragedy #DemandChange #CivicAwareness #LinkedInCommunity

RIP Amna Arif! I am heartbroken to hear the tragic news about Amna Arif from Systems Limited, who lost her life in a road accident at Karsaz, Karachi. Amna and her father were innocent victims of a reckless driver, allegedly under the influence, who attempted to evade responsibility. This senseless act of negligence has left an irreplaceable void and a profound sense of loss. Amna’s death is a stark reminder of the disparity between the privileged elite and ordinary citizens in Pakistan. It raises urgent questions about accountability and justice in our society. When will those who abuse their power and position face consequences for their actions? To the authorities and the justice system, I call for meaningful reforms and stricter enforcement to ensure that the elite are held accountable and that such tragedies are prevented in the future. Let us all strive for a system where every life is valued, and where justice is truly served. Rest in peace, Amna Arif. Your legacy should drive us to demand a fairer, more accountable society. #JusticeForAll #NoMoreInjustice #EqualRightsNow #StopCorruption #FairnessFirst #EndImpunity #DemandChange #SafeRoadsForAll #ZeroTolerance #SpeakUpForJustice #RoadSafetyNow #JusticeForVictims #EndPrivilegeAbuse #SafetyFirst #AccountabilityMatters

When Money Speaks, Justice is Silenced #JusticeForAmna I'm utterly heartbroken and struggling to find the words to express my outrage. Today, a sessions court in Karachi granted bail to Natasha Danish, the driver who, under the influence of drugs, took the innocent lives of Imran Arif and his daughter, Amna, in the Karsaz accident. Even more shocking is that the victims' family has reportedly pardoned them, removing their objections, all in the name of Allah. I cannot comprehend how anyone can use the name of Allah to justify or forgive such a heinous act. How can we allow someone, who was high on crystal meth, to take innocent lives and then walk free just because they have money? This is the harsh reality of our society: those with money can buy their way out, even when they are guilty of the most unforgivable crimes. Today, it’s drugs and reckless driving—tomorrow, who knows what else? And who will be next? We must not allow this to become a precedent. Lives were lost, and it seems like their deaths mean nothing—not to their own family, not to the government, not to the justice system. This is a wake-up call. We cannot stand by while the rich and powerful use their wealth to escape accountability. We must demand that justice be served, not just for Imran and Amna, but for every innocent soul lost due to the reckless actions of those who believe they are above the law. #JusticeForImranAndAmna #EndEliteImpunity #AccountabilityNow #NoJusticeNoPeace #SayNoToBloodMoney #SystemicFailure

RIP Amna Arif I'm devastated to share that Amna Arif, a bright and ambitious person from Systems Limited tragically lost her life in a road accident yesterday at Karsaz, Karachi. She and her father were innocent victims of a reckless driver, allegedly under the influence, who tried to flee from the scene without accountability. The tragic loss continues to haunt me. Her senseless murder by a reckless elite driver has left a void that can never be filled. Her brutal murder is a reminder of the stark contrast between the privileged elite and the vulnerable citizens of Pakistan. When will we hold the elite class accountable for their actions? When will we ensure that justice is served, and the innocent are protected? My heart aches for her family, who must now navigate the darkest of times. I hope that the company she worked for recognizes her tireless efforts and dedication, and makes the necessary clearances easier for her family. May her memory not be just another statistic, but a reminder of the human cost of corporate indifference. In a country where corporate cultures often discard employees like disposable assets, I fear that Amna's legacy may be reduced to a mere footnote. But I implore Systems Limited to prove me wrong. Show that Amna's life mattered. Support her family in their time of need. And to the elite criminals who roam Pakistan's streets with impunity, I wish for a justice system that would make them tremble with fear. Harsh punishments that would deter them from ever taking another life. But until then, we're left with only tears, anger, and a deep sense of loss. #AccountabilityNow #EndEliteImpunity #RoadSafetyMatters #RIPAmnaArif #Systemsltd

Honesty is best policy I always prevails
In a bustling neighborhood of Bahadarabad, a heartwarming tale of integrity and resilience unfolded when a traffic police officer discovered Faisal mother's lost wallet. Despite enduring severe financial strain, compounded by eight months of unpaid wages, the officer chose the path of honesty. Returning the wallet intact, with 40,000 rupees in cash, he exemplified unwavering moral fortitude. Ibad Faisal, a member of a popular online group, shared this inspiring narrative, praising the officer's remarkable integrity and highlighting his dire circumstances. Faisal's post not only expressed gratitude but also served as a clarion call for community support. By providing the officer's contact information, Faisal aimed to mobilize assistance from compassionate individuals or prompt higher authorities to address the officer's overdue wages. This poignant story serves as a poignant reminder to acknowledge and celebrate acts of integrity, especially in the face of adversity, while advocating for fairness and support for those who embody honesty in their daily endeavors. #Pakistan #Karachi #Police #Wallet #Traffic
