UPDATE: #righttodisconnect passes Parliament! The Right to Disconnect Bill which, put simply, will prevent employees from being punished for refusing to take unreasonable work calls or answer emails in their unpaid personal time, has just passed Parliament. Anticipate that this passing will result in a lot of debate, including understanding what is deemed to be "unreasonable". Whilst it’s a divisive topic, it’s enlightening to see increasing recognition of the importance of healthy work-life balance and an intention to reduce the chances of burnout as a safety concern in the workplace. #workplacerelations #updates #worklifebalance
