👉 Klæmintsgjógv: the world's largest sea cave ===================> For many years, Rikoriko in New Zealand was thought to be the largest sea cave in the world. However, some people from the Faroe Islands had long suspected that one of their many sea caves might also be the ocean giant of the underworld. In July 2024 they received confirmation: after precise measurements with a 3D laser, it was established beyond doubt that the world's largest sea cave is Klæmintsgjógv on the island of Hestur in the Faroese archipelago. The Portuguese Songcontest (Festival da Canção) is celebrating this year its 60th edition. To combine this with the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, we dedicate the March edition of "A cantiga é uma arma" to the winners of the Portuguese Songcontest in the 60ies and the 70ies. There are three Fs which are commonly associated to the dictatorship (Estado Novo): Fado, Fátima and Football, but we will focus on a 4th F: Festival da Canção to show that songs were effectively a weapon!
