Recent drilling by Sunstone Metals Limited (ASX:STM) at the Limon gold-silver discovery in southern Ecuador has further expanded the Central Shoot and uncovered new mineralised zones. The findings bolster the company’s work to establish a maiden mineral resource estimate at Limon. Recent drilling has continued to yield strong results, with key highlights including 50.85 metres at 1.43 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) from 135.15 metres in hole LMDD051. This intersection includes a high-grade segment of 5 metres at 5.81 g/t AuEq, with very high silver grades reaching up to 1,610 g/t over a 0.45-metre interval. Meanwhile, drill hole LMDD048 intersected 16.35 metres at 1.06 g/t AuEq from 45 metres, further expanding the Central Shoot and identifying new shallow mineralised areas south of the initial discovery. Copper gold (and iron) deposit available for immediate sale, #Kiruna #Sweden A Mineral Resource has been estimated for Critical Metals Ltd's 100% owned Discovery Zone, #copper #gold and magnetite #iron ore prospect located in Kiruna, Sweden (adjacent to Copperstone Resources AB and LOVISAGRUVAN AB (PUBL) copper deposits and LKAB iron mine). A total Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 9.0 million tonnes at 0.80% Cu and 0.19g/t Au above a cut-off of 0.4% Cu has been estimated. A magnetite iron ore Mineral Resource is largely coincident with the copper/gold Mineral Resource and is reported at 9.7 million tonnes at 38.5 Fe% above a cut-off of 15% Mass Recovery. Opportunity exists at or near the margins of the mineralisation to increase resource size through exploration success. Further drilling is recommended, targeting zones where mineralisation is not adequately delineated. The copper/gold and the magnetite iron ore mineralisation are closely associated and largely coincident; however, to avoid mixing geological grade domains, the iron mineralisation is modelled separately from the copper/gold mineralisation. A total of 41 historical diamond core drill holes have been completed in various campaigns since 2000 by #riotinto and #Lundin Mining Corporation (Lundin), supporting the mineral resource. EuroPacific Metals, led by CEO Karim Rayani, has announced an expansion of its drilling program at the Miguel Vacas mine area. The company will extend an additional drill hole to a depth of 350 meters, targeting the high-grade zone below the fourth hole where a mineralized section was previously intersected. This new hole will also explore an area approximately 80 meters north, where earlier results revealed a 22.8-meter section grading 2.76% copper, including a 9.0-meter interval grading an impressive 7.49% copper. Rayani explained the decision to extend the program, aiming to test the 'fresh' mineralization below the oxidized rich material in the same section as hole EBMV004, which encountered a wide mineralized section. The mineralized system at Miguel Vacas extends for at least 2 kilometers along strike and remains open at depth, including an 80-meter supergene blanket containing copper carbonates, phosphates, and oxides transitioning to a sulphide assemblage primarily composed of chalcopyrite and pyrite. With 10 holes totaling 1,060 meters completed to date, this expanded drilling program underscores @europacificmetals' commitment to thoroughly exploring and developing the Miguel Vacas copper deposit, with the goal of uncovering substantial resources and enhancing the project's overall value. #mining #exploration #copper
