Black holes are some of the most fascinating and extreme objects in the universe. Their immense gravitational pull is so strong that not even light can escape from them. Supermassive black holes, on the other hand, are truly gigantic. They can have masses millions or even billions of times greater than our Sun. For example, the event horizon of the black hole at the center of the Milky Way is only about 20 times larger than the Sun's diameter. The true nature of the singularity at the center of a black hole, where the laws of physics as we know them break down, remains a mystery.
