What an honor to have 366 NY Life financial professionals recognized by Forbes! I'm also honored to have spent the last year working with Ose Okojie, CLU, ChFC, AEP who is ranked 32nd in Texas. Ose's experience, knowledge, and mentorship has truly helped me as I build my business. The methodology behind these rankings is more than just numbers, according to Shook Research. They say their rankings are based on one simple notion: “Would we recommend these professionals to a family member or a friend?” Another way to put it is, if you needed a life-critical operation, would you choose a surgeon solely based on how much money he or she makes? Arguably the most important quantitative element would be how many surgeries the doctor performed and the success rate. Shook looks for individuals who are best prepared to engage in more meaningful conversations about life while protecting against the perils posed by disability, death or job loss. To accomplish this task, they collect quantitative data, but they also interview FSPs to see if they are role models Shook and Forbes would recommend to the world.
