Loan-To-Income (LTI) ratio is being added to thr lending guidelines of B20 lenders. 4.5x income "profolio test" for mortgage approvals. This rule is interesting since lenders are allowed to exceed the LTI if they have room on thier profolio to do so. the video below gives a brief synopsis of this new rule.

Banks and CUs are using price as the primary means to control the types of mortgage loans they originate.
