Technical but informative & Daniel is worth following for those interested (which I am/TRCSS is) in regard to Energy Trading for ADER participation.
OK, here comes the test. If the blue line follows the solid purple line for the next 3.5 hours, then ERCOT is correctly predicting 4CP response by large commercial and industrial power users and large retail monopoly utilities (Austin Energy and CPS) with their residential thermostat controls to offset their transmission demand charge. My guess is that the blue line suddenly goes much more flat (loses the sinusoidal slope of the purple). i.e. ERCOT is not predicting 4CP response correctly. We'll see.... (will repost on this later today either way...and eat crow if need be)
