Mietz, founded by Lena Tuckermann in 2021, has raised over a million in investments to fast-track its expansion across Germany. As a pioneering PropTech company, Mietz offers a fully digitalized and secure platform that simplifies the entire rental process - from property listings to signing contracts - all within a single app. The platform has already made a strong impact in Berlin, managing over 10,000 rental units exclusively through key partnerships. With its innovative use of AI, Mietz transforms the rental process for landlords, property managers, and tenants alike. By automating traditionally time-consuming tasks, Mietz ensures a smooth, legally compliant experience. This fresh investment will allow Mietz to scale operations across all major German cities, while further enhancing its technology and expanding its sales and tech teams.

We are proud to announce that our newest portfolio company, Parto has just raised EUR 2.5 million to develop its digital payment solution for people in care facilities. 👏 Many individuals in these settings face challenges in accessing basic digital services like online shopping and streaming, due to a lack of financial tools tailored to their needs. Parto’s platform, developed by serial entrepreneurs Jes Hennig, Christoph Roling, and Thomas Heuck addresses this gap, offering a seamless way for care recipients to manage payments and engage with the digital world. Recognized for this novel approach, Parto has already earned the prestigious Gründergeist award in Hamburg, underscoring the potential to make a real impact. With this fresh funding, Parto is set to scale its platform, ensuring digital inclusion for millions who have long been left behind in the tech-driven world.

This year’s NCA Online Speed Dating Event was another success, providing startups with the opportunity to pitch their business case to corporate partners in timed sessions. 💼 Each pitch and discussion lasted 10 minutes, after which both parties moved on to the next. With a strong academic foundation in Psychology and Management, coupled with hands-on experience as a Founders Associate at a Social Impact Startup, she brings a fresh and insightful perspective to our investment strategies. Frederik embarks on his journey into the world of Venture Capital with a 3-month internship in our Investment Team. Having just completed his Abitur, Frederik is eager to learn the ins and outs of the industry and contribute to our ongoing projects.
