The success story continues! After a successful partnership of 13 years and an increase in usage of over 50% last year, the city Stadt Norderstedt can get excited for an expansion in the following month! Until September 100 brand new bikes and cargo bikes will join the fleet which means the residents and visitors of Norderstedt can look forward to riding a grand total of 200 bikes in the near future. Especially the high density of cargo bikes compared to the number of residents in the city (25 cargo bikes/83.000 inhabitants) is unique and shows the city's commitment to a new way of mobility. We are looking forward to the next years with Norderstedt and will continue to push the transport transformation ahead together! #BikeSharevolution #Publictransport #BikeSharing #SustainableMobility

E-bikes are not always necessary. Norderstedt is very flat and these cargos are very easy to handle. So finally it was an economic decission for more (pedal)bikes instead less (cargo) bikes.

New bikes are always good news, well done ! just wondering, are they all classic non-electric bikes? If so, how far are the distances of non-electric Cargo bikes, that are just super heavy? IMHO, only e-bikes tend to be used a lot, unfortunately.
