Job Description: Nextech is seeking an intellectually curious and driven Analyst for our San Francisco office to work with a global and lean team of investment professionals. We are looking for someone with an unrelenting drive and attention to detail, a propensity for the life sciences industry and the curiosity and ambition to find 'the answer.' Desired Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate will have 4 years OR LESS of work experience. Individuals with a background in management consulting, investment banking, or other structured training programs are preferred. Candidates with other applicable research experience (i.e., investigative journalist, librarian, detective, law firm, etc.) will be considered as well; Other requirements: (A) MUST be intellectually curious with a strong desire to uncover 'the answer'; (B) MUST have strong quantitative acumen and strong oral and written communication skills; (C) MUST have an excellent academic track record; (D) MUST have 4 years OR LESS of work experience. (E) MUST aim to work from our SF office 5 days a week This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a small organization and participate in all parts of the investment process.   Responsibilities: Deep due diligence on companies, technologies, and specific compounds as well as primary diligence with KOLs and healthcare professionals Reading and summarizing scientific literature, attending disease-specific scientific and medical conferences Take meticulous notes, run and maintain a comprehensive and dependable information aggregation process on the industry and peers Conduct investment portfolio and industry market analyses If you are interested in the position and meet the qualifications outlined, please send a resume to GlobalBiotechInvestor@gmail.com.
