It was a pleasure to chat with Vijay V. Vaitheeswaran at #EconSustainability last week, where we explored the importance of power and the impact it has on the broader economy. During our conversation, we highlighted the significant surge in energy demand across America today and how NextEra Energy Resources is strategically positioned to power this growth. Renewables and storage are set to play a pivotal role in meeting this demand. They offer an unbeatable combination of being clean, cost-effective, and the quickest to deploy. I’m particularly excited about battery storage, as it enables the shifting of renewable generation to the times when it is needed most. Looking ahead, industry estimates suggest we will triple our renewables and storage capacity in the next seven years compared to the past seven—a staggering increase! It’s evident that there’s a profound shift happening in how we collectively think about clean energy. Less than a year ago, these technologies were being deployed predominantly to replace aging or retiring plants. We now have entered a new paradigm for the power sector in which we are both transforming the country's energy mix while also meeting the significant new demand from new manufacturing, industrial activities and growth in the technology sector. 3moGreat article Miss Rebecca, Glad to hear the big Utility companies are looking for the right technologies and partnerships. Creek Tides Energy & Power has the utility scalable technology that is needed to take this giant leap into a very predictable, dependable and “UNTAPPED” renewable energy source and take it to the next HIGH level. Data has been proven by SwRI South west Research Institute and the University of Florida with DoE grants and patents have been granted. Nextera is surrounded by ocean and tidal currents. We can start making energy in 1/2 mph water currents with hardly no drag and NO start up issues. This same turbine will also make Novel windmills for lower wind velocities also. Very scalable, very efficient, and very very cheap to manufacture with unskilled labor. Will create thousands of jobs and lots of energy for Power generation, Portable EV charging, Hydrogen production, and Desalination. We would love to have the chance to work with Nextera Energy during these exciting times to make a difference in the world of energy.
