Additionally, the transformation demands a whole load of investment in time and cash, not only to obtain the tech but to upskill staff and redefine processes. Without a clear strategy, leadership buy-in, and a focus on people, even the most technically brilliant smart manufacturing initiatives can fail to deliver the expected results.
