No prior experience contributing to nf-core is needed. However, we do expect that you have some experience writing Nextflow code. Note that there is a separate training event for learning Nextflow and nf-core, running in parallel to the hackathon. Tickets are limited and selling fast. I'm excited to announce that I will be joining Seqera as a Senior Developer Advocate supporting the #nextflow, #nfcore, and #seqera platform user communities. For this role, I'm am relocating to San Francisco to help support the vibrant biopharma and tech communities in that area. Seqera is a company developing some of the most powerful and innovative open-source and commercial software for running scalable and reproducible scientific workflows. I've written a blog post sharing my journey as a Nextflow user and Seqera Platform customer and why I am so thrilled to be joining a company I have been passionate about for some time.
