Development of Advanced Feeding Strategies for High Throughput Mini-Bioreactor Systems High throughput cultivation systems have become an essential part in early-stage bioprocess development. Robotic facilities have advanced from simple parallel microtiter plates to sophisticated cultivation systems by integration of non-invasive sensors and liquid handling stations, which are capable to perform complex process control actions. These systems nowadays allow for screening experiments with increased comparability to the industrial operating conditions and thus offer a possibility for significantly more efficient and reliable upstream process development.
