Overall, lots of growth and science-based opportunities in our #healthandwellbeing focused industry. Agreed that the size of the expo is challenging for meetings (this is why I didn't make it to your booth=)). It would be ideal if they created an exhibitors only time/times. The organizers could also provide opportunities for brand new "rookie" brands to participate, #fasttrack. This could have a tremendous benefit to our industry.
📊 TOP TRENDS FROM THE SUPPLYSIDE WEST 2023 As you know, we travelled to Vegas to attend SupplySide West 2023. I was expecting a huge turnout, as it's the biggest show on this market. I was happy to see the whole industry getting back together! Actually, the size of the show exceeded my expectations! There were definitely more people than in previous editions. The venue was huge making it hard for anyone to get to their scheduled meetings on time. As for the trends, I've noted: - More and more brands focusing on the "story" aspect of ingredient (sustainability, natural origin, upcycling, clean process…); - Fewer requests on gummies, many brands getting back to traditional delivery forms; - As far as health claims are concerned, brain health, active living, heart health, metabolic health and skin health stand out!
