New: Iterators in Relay.app 🔁 "How can I automate actions for each item in a list?" - we've gotten many questions like these in the past few months. To support many of these use cases, we built an Iterator feature which we launched today 🙌 Head over to our blog to learn how to use Iterators, including various use case examples: https://lnkd.in/d-n93Rxd

Last week, we launched Iterators. This week, the encore: Batch Triggers 🔁 Batch triggers let you kick off multiple runs for the same playbook, at once. For use cases ranging from one-off mail merge playbooks to a periodically scheduled playbook that kicks off a run for every open high priority ticket in Jira that's significantly overdue. Read the blog post below for more details! 👉 https://lnkd.in/eJJhQBDa

If you are running your complex app on Kuberbetes for the first time and if you are using opentelemetry for distributed tracing I have to say this. It's a wise decision my friend. A very strong and strategic move for long-term observability. The benefits outweighs the complexity. Share your story. What observability tools do you use?

Why I Broke Up with NavigationView for NavigationStack 💔 Me to NavigationView: "It’s not you, it’s me... Actually, no, it is you. You’re just too... outdated." 😬 💡 NavigationStack slides in: "I heard you like clean, predictable navigation. Let’s make your app drama-free." 🎉 Now, with NavigationStack, navigating between views is so smooth, it feels like I’m swiping on a dating app. No weird reloads, no confusion—just one view at a time. 📱 My app: "Finally, I can stop seeing my views fight each other for attention like it's the Hunger Games." 👀 PSA: If you’re still using NavigationView, it’s like using dial-up internet at a fiber-optic party. Time to upgrade before your code ghosts you! 😂 https://lnkd.in/err3bdJQ #iOSGlowUp #NavigationStackForever #NoMoreViewDrama #SwipeRightOnBetterNavigation

Here's a 'trick' 🪄 (not really) in Rust: Calling the 'to_string' method will give you the string value itself without its references (see screenshot). 1. ❌ The 'clone' method can work, but you must call it multiple times depending on how many references are present. Not that clean. 2. ❌ The same goes for the 'to_owned' method. 3. ✅ But with one invocation of 'to_string', you will get the value without the ampersands (the references). Pretty neat. If I miss anything, let me know. Anyway, I had to use this for the backend of the GSuite app I'm building. Making progress! I aim to have it released before the first week of October or sometime soon 👍.

Loving it. Deep Work is so important

For the past few weeks I have been working on a free, no-signup todo (written in Elm) list that allows you to focus on one and only one task at a given time. While some occasions do call for you to multi-ask, largely everyone is better off if they focus on one task at a time with no distractions or other contexts visible. To make this effective single tasking possible, I have made https://lnkd.in/dRDQ7gEz Unlike most of the todo apps, this doesn't require you to signup or create an account. On top of it, the code is public and I'll do a code walkthrough video later. For now, enjoy single tasking!
