The global volume of surgery is estimated at 313 million procedures per year, and the burden of associated crises may be in the millions annually. Clinicians note they had been involved in at least one unanticipated death or serious injury over the course of their career, with a relative number acknowledging they had never fully recovered. Debriefing after adverse events potentially benefits the individual, team, environment, and overall health care system. Join us 16 July to engage on this critical discussion..
