People who know me well know I am a lifelong Washington Capitals fan. I also had a chance to work under team owner Ted Leonsis division at AOL in the early years of digital media; his brilliance in business and efforts in philanthropy are understated. Yesterday evening per below was a celebration of a player who gives 100% in every instance., and the Washington Capitals beat an elite Vancouver Canucks squad behind sheer effort and team collaboration. I hope corporate America, business leaders, and entrepreneurs can strive to build more collaborative relationships with employees and partners. In recent years, I have witnessed some concerning behaviors and a lack of integrity without remorse in the business world, especially over the last year. The result of these behaviors is not just business outcomes; it harms people who strive to support their families. I embraced an entrepreneurial path in 2023, partly because of a lack of trust I developed in the business world, unless I could play a more significant role in decision-making to formulate an integrity-based business approach. #leadership https://lnkd.in/gWkdyDJT
